Virgilia capensis, also known as the Cape lilac, is a small to medium-sized deciduous tree growing up to 10 meters in height. It features feathery, light green foliage and produces clusters of pea-like lavender flowers in spring. Native to South Africa, it's prized for its ornamental value in gardens and landscapes.
