FAQ
When do you deliver lawn?
We aim to deliver turf within 3-5 business days from order acceptance. Please understand that sometimes due to product availability we may be limited in what we can offer our customers. We deliver turf Tuesday to Friday and deliveries usually arrive before 11am.
What do I need to prepare for turf installation?
At a minimum we recommend spreading out some turf start fertiliser and/or organic matter before rolling out your new lawn. This improves the nutrients in the soil at the root level of the turf. In sandy soil areas of Perth we also recommend a wetting agent product that will help retain moisture from irrigation systems. Fertiliser and wetting agent is available from most hardware stores.
How long can my delivered turf sit before installation?
We always recommend installation as soon as possible after delivery. Turf is a living green life product and will be further stressed if not replanted and irrigated quickly. Lawn that sits on a pallet rolled up build sup heat that stresses and yellows the grass.
How thick are the turf rolls?
Our turf rolls are approximately 25 - 30 millimetres thick.
Where do you deliver turf?
We deliver to most Perth metro suburbs. If you are unsure about your delivery location, please contact us.
Where do you get your products?
We source all our products from other successful, family owned businesses in Perth. We only supply products we use in our own garden and are completely satisfied with.
Can I pick up turf myself?
No sorry. Because we source our products from farms direct, customer safety can not be guaranteed.
Can I install the turf myself?
Absolutely, visit our video library for useful tips and information. Contact us if you have any questions.
Is real grass better than artificial grass?
Both options have pros and cons. Artificial grass costs much more upfront but has lower ongoing costs. It also has a limited life of around 10-15 years and will require replacement. Artificial grass is a petroleum based plastic product and your old artificial grass will end up in landfill. It also has some maintenance needs such as brushing and cleaning including hosing off any areas that pets may use as a toilet.
Real grass has a much lower cost to install, is nicer to the touch and converts carbon dioxide into air we need to breathe. If looked after, it should last forever and is nicer for children and pets to play on and enjoy. It does have higher maintenance requirements but it keeps your property much cooler and it filters rainwater before running into drainage.
Do you install the turf as well?
Sorry we do not have an installation team available at the moment.
