Melastoma affine, or Tucker Bush Blue Tongue, is a compact shrub, growing up to 150 cm tall. It boasts striking purple flowers and glossy green foliage. Native to Australia, it thrives in well-drained soil and full sun, attracting pollinators and adding a vibrant touch to gardens and landscapes.
